PROJECTS

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde- New Southern General £600m 

Low Carbon Sustainable Hospital.  Initially placed within the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde board by the Carbon Trust to provide advise and procuring a sustainable new hospital. Ecoteric have now worked with them for over two years. In that time Ecoteric have;

Advised on the appointment of technical advisors.

Influenced the exemplar design

Provided the employers requirement for energy and sustainability

Taken part in the competitive dialog and bid evaluation

Undertaken the BREEAM assessment of the new PHLS labs

Become a client advisor for the main hospital BREEAM

Monitored the emergent design and procurement against the employers requirement

Ecoteric are retained for the duration of the projects (to 2015) to ensure that the projects meets its challenging energy and sustainability targets of 80kg CO2/m2/annum in operation and BREEAM "excellent".
