Adobe’s new European, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) Headquarters in Maidenhead has achieved a coveted LEED Platinum rating. This is only the 4th building in the UK to achieve the maximum rating for exceptional green buildings.
LEED was developed by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and is a rating standard for the design and construction of high performing green buildings.
Karen Elliott, associate director at Ecoteric, was the appointed LEED AP (Accredited Professional) for the scheme. Karen guided the design, construction and client teams through the exacting sustainability requirements of the LEED Commercial Interiors 2009 Scheme. The project scored well over all categories, and achieved maximum points in the Water Efficiency,
Innovation in Design and Regional Priority sections.
